Damage Protection Plan
Damage Protection is not included with your rental.
Optional Damage Protection may be purchased for $25 per bicycle, per rental day.
When purchased, it covers up to $1,000 of accidental, riding-related damage to the covered rental bicycle.
If repair or replacement costs exceed $1,000, the renter is responsible for the remaining balance.
If Damage Protection is not purchased, the renter is responsible for the full cost of any accidental damage to the rental bicycle.
Damage Protection does not cover:
- Theft or loss of the bicycle or equipment
- Intentional, reckless, or abusive use
- Damage caused during transportation, including improper bike rack use
- Vehicle impacts or running over the bicycle
- Vandalism or other damage not caused by normal riding
Ride Bicycles determines whether the bicycle can be repaired or must be replaced. Repair or replacement costs are based on current parts, labor, and manufacturer pricing.
